Welcome to AFP Bluegrass

Welcome to the AFP Bluegrass Chapter website! We are committed to supporting development professionals throughout the central Kentucky region. Our chapter has over 100 active members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

If you are a development professional, a volunteer involved in the philanthropic process, interested in fundraising as a career, or just want to know more about AFP, we welcome you!

AFP Bluegrass Chapter hosts monthly luncheon program meetings normally on the third Wednesday of January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September, and October. Members and guests have the opportunity to network and learn best practices from other skilled nonprofit leaders. Educational opportunities are provided through regular luncheon meetings, National Philanthropy Day, and audio conferences.

Dec 6 - Partnerships and Development Director
The Partnerships and Development Director is charged with developing, communicating, and executing all strategic philanthropic fundraising initiatives for the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association. The Director manages the Annual Campaign, program sponsorship initiatives, major gift solicitations and stewardship, and all donor cultivation and acquisition programs, including the communications and marketing strategies for such. This position also supports the program team through development and fostering of key community partnerships, and direct program support.
